The “Draft National Plan for Cyberspace Transformation and Identity” is a document that was presented to the government for the first time by a professional organization (Nasr Organization or Tehran Province Computer Guild Organization) and the strategic management of the Secretariat of the Executive Council of Information Technology. This plan focuses on the infrastructure for online ID verification and has determined how this program will be implemented.
Two years prior to this draft, the SCC ratified a resolution titled “Online Valid Identity System,” which aims to identify all those who want to use internet services. Simplifying user tracking and creating limitations, or identifying them, are among its provisions.
