The organisation had previously experienced disruption in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/filter.watch\/en\/2020\/10\/13\/network-monitor-september-2020\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">September<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/filter.watch\/en\/2020\/09\/11\/network-monitor-august-2020\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">August<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/filter.watch\/en\/2020\/07\/07\/network-monitor-june-2020\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">June<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/filter.watch\/en\/2020\/03\/06\/network-monitor-february-2020\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">February<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/filter.watch\/en\/2020\/02\/03\/filterwatch-network-monitor-january-2020\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">January<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. On October 9 it experienced a very brief period of disruption (similar to Neda Gostar Saba) with an unknown cause.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-2646\" src=\"https:\/\/filter.watch\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/11\/image4-300x96.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"918\" height=\"294\" srcset=\"https:\/\/filter.watch\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/11\/image4-300x96.png 300w, https:\/\/filter.watch\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/11\/image4-1024x327.png 1024w, https:\/\/filter.watch\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/11\/image4-768x245.png 768w, https:\/\/filter.watch\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/11\/image4-1536x491.png 1536w, https:\/\/filter.watch\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/11\/image4-1568x501.png 1568w, https:\/\/filter.watch\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/11\/image4.png 1999w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 918px) 100vw, 918px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">October 14 &amp; 16 \u2013 Multiple disruptions, including to .ir TLD registry<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Three providers experienced disruptions from October 14 - 16, including Farhang Azma Communications Company and Sharif University of Technology, and among them the Research Center of Theoretical Physics and Mathematics (IPM) is the most significant one. IPM is responsible for handling Iran\u2019s top-level domain and has experienced major disruption on at least four occasions this year: in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/filter.watch\/en\/2020\/04\/03\/network-monitor-march-2020\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">March<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/filter.watch\/en\/2020\/07\/07\/network-monitor-june-2020\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">June<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/filter.watch\/en\/2020\/08\/26\/network-monitor-july-2020\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">July<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/filter.watch\/en\/2020\/09\/11\/network-monitor-august-2020\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">August<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. As usual, no explanation was provided. No explanation was given.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">October 26 \u2013 Ahvaz-based ISP RefahTec sees another disruption<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">AS58256 <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/refatec.ir\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Rayaneh Gostar Farzanegan Ahwaz<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (the ISP RefahTec) went almost completely offline on October 26 at 20:00. The disruption lasted for a short period.
